Description
To demonstrate it’s capabilities, the GFB Atomic Boost Controller was installed on a GD Subaru Impreza WRX with only a turbo-back exhaust and tested back-to-back with the OEM controller. Dyno runs were made with the factory setup and boost pressure recorded. The GFB Atomic boost controller was then installed and adjusted to an identical 13.2 psi/0.9bar to compare turbo spool performance. The proof is in the poison as they say and the below graph clearly shows the gains low in the power curve that the Atomic contributed, as much as 18wkW (23.4whp)!!
In the real world, these gains manifest themselves in much better acceleration from an incredible 1700RPM earlier in the rev range, at stock boost level and for a “change between the couch cushions” price. Add the fact that boost can be increased above the factory level for even more power gains and Go Fast Bits Atomic sized part packs a nuclear punch.
